public speaking training

The fear of public speaking almost always ranks top on the list of most people's phobias, often even higher than the fear of death.

I find this curious, as there is definitely life after speech, but life after death remains as yet unproven, at least scientifically!

In all seriousness, after more than twenty years as a public speaker, I have come to realise that effective public speaking is actually one of the easiest and most rewarding pursuits around! The trick is simply knowing how to do it.

From my experience I have put together a program which covers these core principles:

  •    Perfecting  the  'speaking voice'

  •    Fine-tuning your body language

  •    How to write a speech

  •    Building your confidence levels

  •    Creating a truly powerful delivery

Concentrating on these aspects has enabled me to speak confidently and effectively at all manner of occasions: be it wedding speeches, best man speeches, debates, public discussions, presentations in the boardroom and in the court room (as the lawyer not the accused!!).

You may feel you only need to brush up on your presentation skills; you may simply want help crafting that perfect speech, or you may want more comprehensive  coaching over a longer period of time. I am quite happy to assess your needs and competencies and tailor-make a course of coaching just right for you.

I truly believe that almost everyone has what it takes to speak powerfully and effectively in public; it is only fear that holds us back from achieving this greatness

With your commitment and my coaching, I believe we can evaporate that fear and set you on the path of success as a powerful and effective public speaker
